Cookies Policy
What cookies and local storage eData4You uses on this website, and how to manage your preference.
01. What this covers
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. We also use browser local storage for some of the same purposes - functionally similar, just held differently. This policy covers both, and how they're used on this website specifically.
It doesn't cover cookies set by third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.
02. Essential cookies
A small number of cookies are required for the site to function and aren't optional. These include a signed session cookie for our team's admin dashboard (only set if you're logged in as staff), and, if you're sent a link to fill out a gated form, a short-lived cookie that proves you have access to that specific form.
None of these are used to track you across the web, and none are set just from browsing the public site.
03. Your cookie preference
The banner you see on first visit records whether you've accepted cookies. That choice is kept in your browser's local storage, not a cookie itself, so clearing your browser data resets it and you'll see the banner again.
04. Analytics
We use Vercel's own Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand traffic and page performance. These are first-party, don't use cross-site tracking cookies, and don't build an advertising profile of you - matching Vercel's own privacy approach to this data.
05. Optional marketing cookies
This site supports Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel for marketing measurement, but none of these are active unless we've explicitly configured them, and even then they only load after you accept cookies via the banner - never before, and never if you decline.
06. Managing your preference
You can accept cookies from the banner shown on your first visit. If you'd rather not, most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their privacy settings - the site will still work, though the banner will keep reappearing and any optional marketing scripts simply won't load.
