Featured Offer
The offer shown in the main purchase box on an Amazon product page, which Amazon now calls the Featured Offer rather than the Buy Box.
In practice
When several sellers offer the same product, Amazon picks one offer to show in the purchase box. Price, delivery speed, fulfillment method and seller performance all feed the choice. In 2026 Amazon announced that seller performance would no longer act as a separate eligibility gate on its own, with the change rolling out through the end of the year.
Two sellers list the same blender; the one with Prime delivery and a slightly lower landed price holds the Featured Offer most of the week.
Why it matters
Most purchases on Amazon go through the purchase box, so winning the Featured Offer is usually the difference between a listing that sells and one that does not.
Worth knowing
- Competitive landed price, fast delivery and FBA or Seller Fulfilled Prime help most.
- More than one seller can be featured at different times, depending on the buyer's location and delivery options.
- Repricing, stock availability and account health still influence which offer is shown.
