What's changing
The plugin connects a seller's listings, inventory levels, sales analytics and performance metrics to an outside AI assistant, which can then act on the account the way Seller Assistant does inside Seller Central. Sellers approve actions before they are carried out, and every interaction has an audit trail. It is live in Amazon Quick and in beta in Claude for sellers in Amazon's US stores, with international expansion planned. Seller Assistant itself also gains persistent memory of a seller's pricing patterns and inventory cycles, plus always-on workflows such as an alert when a top product's rating drops below four stars. Amazon is also offering primary account holders worldwide a free 12-month Amazon Quick Plus subscription if they sign up by December 31, 2026.
Who's affected: Amazon sellers in the US stores, and teams or agencies that manage listings, prices and inventory for them. Sellers outside the US stores should wait for the international rollout.
What to do about it
- Decide who on your team may connect an AI assistant to the account, and give them the narrowest Seller Central permissions that work.
- Start with read-only questions such as inventory and performance checks, and review every proposed price or listing change before approving it.
- If you want the free Quick Plus year, sign up before December 31, 2026.
