Amazon Sets New Business Hour Delivery Rate Requirement

Starting September 30, 2026, applicable seller-fulfilled sellers must maintain at least a 90% Business Hour Delivery Rate on orders shipped to commercial addresses, or risk losing Amazon Business eligibility.

What's changing

The requirement applies to seller-fulfilled (FBM) orders shipped to Amazon Business commercial addresses, where B2B buyers weight reliable delivery during standard business hours more heavily than weekend speed. Amazon tracks this as a distinct metric from the standard on-time delivery rate, and it can affect Amazon Business program eligibility independently of a seller's regular account health standing.

Who's affected: FBM sellers who fulfill orders to Amazon Business (B2B) customers - FBA sellers are unaffected, since Amazon controls fulfillment timing on those orders.

What to do about it

  • Pull a report of recent Amazon Business orders and check actual delivery windows against business hours.
  • If delivery speed is inconsistent, consider moving Amazon Business-eligible SKUs to FBA before the deadline.
  • Recheck this metric in Seller Central shortly after September 30, 2026, to confirm compliance.
